Mens 2012 F/W Collections

2012 Mens shows are over by now.So far I am in love with Gucci.Miss Frida is doing a great job with her exquisite choice of fabrics ,colors and precise cutting.
Deep greens ,mysterious shades of grey hues mixed up with materials with sheer effects looks stunning on sharp tailoring.
Knitwear in collection is very wearable as well as looking amazingly beautiful.

John Varvatos

John Varvatos did great coats.His palette of colors were on a paler side.He used off-white,beige as well as darker hues.Suits
and especially shoes will be flying from stores in few seconds.

Umit Benan

Umit Benan is another favorite of mine as he has a very unique style of expression of fashion .I love him using no prototype male models on the catwalk.His clothes looks absolutely cool.

Vila Madalena

If you plan to visit Sao Paulo,mark your first destination as Vila Madalena.Away from the usual metropolis kitch,this village style neigbourhood is more than you can wish for.Adorned with spectacular grafitti and unique craft shops,the surrounding is like a stage for a fairytale.Make sure you visit all the tiny one-way roads and expect to be amazed by the quality of the grafitti all over you.The shops offer a great variety from japanese toys to modern furniture.When the sun goes down,just take a seat at one the many restaurants. Enjoying a nice drink,get ready to socialise with locals who are mainly artists and film producers.I went there the last day of my trip and almost missed my flight;)

Almost all of the designers had a clue, or reference from the ''Disco Days''.Vibrant colors,long lean silhouettes as, high waisted pants and maxi dresses.It was about time and ,it will be fun to watch how fashion lovers will adopt these new lengths.
